Laser marking instruments gives each item a unique identity for tracking and tracing purposes in the sterile supply workflow. Our Class 4 Fiber Laser provides alphanumeric etching with both letter/name laser marking and 2D barcode laser marking. This identity ensures that each item is decontaminated by the correct process and that instruments remain in their proper location.

PMI provides a consultative, proactive approach to surgical instrument and device repair.
Prior to the start of the contract, our technicians will often meet with customers to evaluate needs and recommend the most effective preventative maintenance and repair program.
PMI Technicians
Each PMI Technician holds various certifications. MSEST (Medstar Corporation Surgical Technician) is a certification through Medstar that ensures each of our technicians is experienced and qualified to provide the best service possible.
In addition, PMI repair technicians are CCSVP (Certified Central Service Vendor Partner) certified through IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service and Materials Management), ASQ CQI certified through the American Society of Quality, SSCS (Steam Systems Cleaning Specialist) certified through Steris and are certified in Blood Borne Pathogens and Operating Room Protocol.
